About James Antonenas

With over 30 years of practice ranging from small, medium and large city and suburban law firms, James Antonenas - Solicitor & Barrister opened his legal practice in Bankstown on 30 November 2004.  James was an employed lawyer with a number of city and suburban law firms, ranging from small through to medium and large from July 1982 through to October 2004.

James has gained varied and extensive experience in a large number of areas of the law, and has utilised and consolidated the experience he has gained in establishing and refining his method of practising law.  By drawing on his wide and varied experience in the law, and having acted on behalf of Plaintiff’s and Defendants for both (Corporate and individual clients), James has developed a practical, pragmatic and down to earth  approach to attending to the needs of clients seeking legal representation and professional advice. 

James' philosophy of practising law is that he should be altruistic, accessible, pragmatic, approachable and whenever he can, personally attend to all client needs and enquiries.

Since 1982, James has established a wide and varied clientele, encompassing small and medium to large corporations, small business people, workers, professionals and the proverbial ‘man off the street’. James has also acted for sporting organisations, and is the solicitor for a NSW Building Society. James has represented a broad range of the community, and in each and every case, James offers the same high level quality of service ensuring his advice suits each specific and individual need.  

James Antonenas - Solicitor & Barrister prides himself on honesty, dependability, approachability, accessibility and integrity.  His client’s can rest assured he will act in their best interests at all times and strict confidentiality of all information obtained as a result of James acting on behalf of his clients is maintained.

In relation to any areas of legal practice not referred to herein, James Antonenas has associations with a number of other lawyers who specialise in these areas that he can refer clients to.  Part of the service that James provides is to refer clients to lawyers who are able to assist clients in areas of law that James does not normally practice in.  James grew up in Sefton and practiced in Bankstown for 9 years before establishing his own practice in November 2004. James resides in the Hills District.
